Foam Roofing Installation
Armstrong Foam Roofing has
excellent durability with high tensile and compressive strength.
Monolithic and seamless, Armstrong Foam Roofing
is a custom installed watertight foam roofing system. At Armstrong
we've been working for the past 25 years with a system that provides
solutions for flat and low sloped roofs.
Armstrong Foam Roofing is also the number one integrated
insulated roofing material in America and its superior R value,
of over 6 per inch, makes it the most energy efficient roofing
material available. This by itself would earn it the green roofing
label. But in addition, Armstrong Foam's proven longevity makes
it a truly sustainable roofing system requiring, in most cases,
only periodic recoating to provide decades of service.

Foam Roofing Application
Process
Armstrong Foam is spray applied to its substrate as a liquid mixture
that, within a few seconds, expands from 20 to 30 times its original
liquid volume into a seamless watertight solid that actually custom
forms to the contour of the underlying roofing substrate. Armstrong
Foam has tenacious adhesion in high winds and has a unique ability
to help solve flat roof drainage issues. Armstrong Foam is considered
the first intelligent roofing technology for flat and low slope
roofs because it actually incorporates insulation and roofing
into one material. This evolutionary idea eliminates the need
for roofing seams and multiple layers which overtime expand, contract
and separate thus allowing a pathway for the destructive forces
of water and microbes. To bring comfort and peace of mind to our
customers, there's only one solution: Foam Roofing by Armstrong.
Armstrong Foam Roofing offers these advantages
when compared with conventional roof systems:
- Tough, durable seamless construction
- Foam can be sprayed onto virtually any substrate including
irregularly shaped roofs and uneven surfaces
- Tenacious adhesion (demonstrated in most recent Florida
hurricanes)
- Resistance to moisture intrusion, even when the membrane
coating is damaged (also demonstrated in recent hurricanes, where
airborne debris damaged many non foam roofs)
- Inch per inch highest energy efficient roofing material
available (over 500% greater than tar & gravel)
- Strong but ultra lightweight and efficient (less than
.5 psf for 1.5-in.-thick foam plus membrane coating)
- Foam's longevity classifies it as a sustainable low slope roofing system
- Armstrong has installed more residential foam roofing than any other company in America
- Armstrong also specializes in bringing the detail required
for residential work to both small and medium sized commercial
buildings
