Howard would often say, focus on those two things and the rest will take care of itself.
Adherence to these maxims, while seemingly simple, keeps our generation ever vigilant. Both Hal and Howard set a high bar, making choices decades ago that created a standard both we and others in our industry consider exemplary. From Howard’s perspective, it was insufficient to claim you’re using the best materials without first demonstrating that those materials were in fact ‘life cycle’ optimized.
